HAMBLEN CO.

Case Manager (CCFT) Hamblen

The CCFT Case Manager will provide primary case-management for an assigned group of clients, including on-going assessment, rehabilitation and support services. Must have a strong commitment to the SPMI population where the goal is to help the client and family maintain within their natural environment, home, school, and community, and to learn to access appropriate support services.

Counselor (Outreach Advocate) Hamblen

The Outreach Advocate is responsible for providing direct services to victims of domestic violence. Professionalism and the ability to work at both an individual level and as a team is required. Duties within the clinic/community change on an ongoing basis so flexibility is essential

Counselor (Workforce Support Employment Specialist) Blount/Anderson, Hamblen/Sevier, Knox

Completes intake, assessment, job placements and coaching.  Works closely with IOP treatment teams to place consumers in competitive, diverse jobs that are tailored to meet the consumer’s individualized needs and preferences

Case Manager (Health Link 910) Hamblen

The Health Link Care Coordinator uses an integrative approach to interface with agencies increasing cooperation and consistency between home, school, work, community, and behavioral and physical health providers as defined by the individuals Care Plan. Provides crisis intervention and emergency services, as well as utilizes Center-wide and community resources as needed for client benefit. Provides transportation to clients as needed to meet the goals of their Care Plan.

Case Manager (Recovery Home) Hamblen
The Recovery Home Case Manager will serve as primary case manager that provides case coordination using a social model approach to a predetermined number of adult women in recovery.


Peer Support Specialist (CSU) Hamblen

The Peer Support Specialist position is intended to provide hope for clients by having a support person who is or has been a primary consumer of mental health or addiction services and is willing to share their experiences and story with mental illness, treatment, and recovery; to be a role model for clients who are currently in crisis and at risk for incarceration.

Who We Are
The McNabb Center is based in Knoxville, the state’s third largest city and is ideally situated minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Center is a regional system of care providing psychiatric/mental health, addiction and social services to children, adults and families. Some of our rural sites are certified for NHSC and STAR loan forgiveness.

Psychiatrists Needed

We are seeking psychiatrists that want to work in an outpatient setting, treatment team and perform medication management with adults, children, or both including depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, and other diagnosis.

We use a team approach with APNs, master’s level clinicians, RNs, milieu counselors and case managers.  We diagnose, educate, treat and aim towards helping clients and their families in their struggle with mental illness and/or addiction.

You are comfortable working in teams with diverse backgrounds, and understand the importance of collaboration to deliver the best possible psychiatric and/or addiction services to our clients. You persist in accomplishing objectives, have excellent attention to detail, and you are comfortable setting priorities. You believe that you can contribute to client success and the success of the McNabb Center. Clinical Philosophy
Services are designed for the express purpose of helping people live successfully in their own communities. We strive to utilize best practice standards throughout our delivery system. We recognize and embrace the use of co-occurring treatment practice for individuals who experience both mental health and addiction issues.

Approach to Care
An ecological approach to the treatment of problems takes into consideration the biological, medical, psychosocial and community impact on the person being treated. Our clients benefit from highly trained and experienced practitioners who work within a team approach with colleagues and our clients/patients.

Benefits
All prescribers receive 4 weeks of vacation per year when working a 40 hour workweek or prorated if schedule varies (24+ hours considered full-time for benefits). Our 403b retirement plan is very lucrative and we have very affordable individual health insurance and other benefits to round out the compensation package. The Center values and rewards longevity. Professional training and leave is paid with prior approval
