The McNabb Center’s Sexual Assault Center of East Tennessee invites the community to support its virtual campaign this April during Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM).

The McNabb Center

Every 68 seconds, someone in the United States is sexually assaulted and more than two out of three of those assaults go unreported to law enforcement, according to RAINN.

“Sexual assault is difficult to talk about,” said Leann Human-Hilliard, McNabb Center clinical vice president. “It is important for the community to come together to raise awareness by starting conversations and believing survivors.”
