The Tennessee Valley Human Resource Association has named Jill Barnes as the Human Resources Professional of the Year, recognizing her leadership and impact in the field of human resources.

Barnes, who currently serves as Vice President of Human Resources at the McNabb Center, began her career with the organization in 2001 as a Services Coordinator. Over the years, she has advanced through various roles, combining her background in social work with her expertise in human resources. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW), an MBA, and is SHRM-certified. The McNabb Center

Jill credits her social work foundation for shaping her HR approach, particularly in conflict resolution and professional development. She is also a SHRM certification trainer, helping to develop the next generation of HR professionals.
