McMinn County Services
The McNabb Center offers a variety of mental health, substance use and social services to individuals and families in McMinn County. Below is an overview of available programs and how to access them.
Mental Health Services
Outpatient Counseling & Psychiatry
We provide therapy and psychiatric medication services to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing mental health challenges. Services include individual and family therapy, psychiatric evaluations, and medication management.
Children’s Behavioral Health Safety Net (BHSN)
Free outpatient services for children ages 3–17 who are uninsured or underinsured and meet mental health eligibility criteria. Services include therapy, case management, and psychiatric support.

Health Link Care Coordination
Our team provides whole-person care coordination for individuals with mental illness and chronic health conditions. This service helps connect clients with medical providers, manage medications, and improve long-term wellness.
Substance Use Services
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
The McMinn IOP provides structured group therapy for adults struggling with substance use. Participants attend therapy sessions four days per week and have access to wraparound support, including case management and referrals.
CenterPointe Medical Detox
A residential detox program offering 24/7 medical care for adults safely withdrawing from alcohol or drugs. Clients receive medical and therapeutic support during their stay, which typically lasts 5–11 days.
Hope United
Certified Peer Recovery Specialists work with patients in hospital settings after an overdose or substance use-related crisis. Peer staff provide encouragement, help with treatment access, and offer follow-up support for up to 90 days post-discharge.
State Opioid Response (SOR) Services
Support for individuals seeking recovery from opioid and other substance use disorders. Services include care coordination, access to Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), and help with housing, employment, and recovery planning.
10th Judicial District Opioid Abatement Program
A jail diversion program offering treatment and recovery support to repeat offenders with substance use disorders. Includes IOP, case management, MAT, and employment assistance.
Social Services
Criminal Justice Liaison Program
We support individuals with mental illness and/or substance use disorders who are involved in the justice system. Our staff work with clients throughout the legal process to connect them to treatment and reduce recidivism.
Supportive Housing
Permanent supportive housing is available for eligible individuals and families experiencing homelessness and living with a mental health condition. Participants receive case management and resources to help maintain housing and increase independence.
Employment Support
Workforce Support Program
This program helps individuals in recovery from substance use disorders find meaningful employment. Services include job placement support, resume assistance, interview coaching, and ongoing job retention services.
