Finding financial assistance for rent/utility costs can be difficult. However, there are multiple websites and strategies to help you search.

VISIT https://www.findhelp.org/money/financial-assistance–chattanooga-tn and browse additional options by filtering results. Do a Google search for churches in your area. Give them a call and inquire if they have any charitable assistance programs of any kind!

OBTAINING TRANSPORTATION

Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Benefit (NEMT)

If you do not have transportation to a doctor’s appointment you have set, TennCare offers a program that provides transportation to and from your medical appointment. For all TennCare members that do not have access to transportation, NEMT offers transport if they are notified of your appointment time at least two business days (72 hours) and are given the needed information of where your residence is.
