Drop in during our Open Access hours for an intake assessment to determine what services may best meet your needs. During this visit, our staff will talk with you to learn more about your goals and connect you with therapy or medication management services if appropriate.

Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU)

The McNabb Center’s Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) offers voluntary, 24-hour treatment in a nonhospital setting. The CSU is intensive, short-term stabilization for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis, with the average length of stay being 3 days. The goal is to alleviate or stabilize symptoms, strengthen coping skills, and facilitate access to services to prevent psychiatric hospitalization.

Services
Groups (up to 5/day), medication evaluation & management, individual counseling, treatment planning, education, supports, discharge planning & referrals, recovery support.
Eligibility
Adults 18+ • voluntary • nonviolent • medically stable • does not require medical detoxification.
Average Stay
Approximately 3 days
