Do you offer internships?

Yes. We offer internships in multiple programs. Please see the current Student Intern listing for details.

What background checks or screenings are required?

McNabb Center conducts background checks, driver’s license record checks, degree verification, and drug screenings at hire. Employment is contingent upon a clean drug screen, background check, and driving record. Certain programs may also require TB screening or testing. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Do I need a car and car insurance?

The majority of our positions require a reliable vehicle and valid car insurance. If you have questions about a specific position, please email hrapplicant@mcnabb.org.

What does new employee orientation look like?

Orientation runs Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and includes departmental presentations, HR training, online Relias training, and F endorsement. CPR and Handle With Care training will be completed based on program requirements.

When am I eligible for health insurance?

Employees are eligible for the McNabb Center Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance plan for themselves and eligible dependents after 90 days of employment.
