For victims of domestic violence who may not need or want to enter shelter, we offer several outreach programs, such as long-term case management, specialized youth services for victims age 13-24, elder advocacy, aftercare from shelter, and rural outreach in Anderson and Roane County. Services offered by our outreach programs include safety planning, court advocacy, assistance filing orders of protection, community support groups, and referrals to community resources.
In May of 2006, our domestic violence programs became part of the Knoxville Family Justice Center which is a one-stop entry way for victims of domestic violence. Outreach advocates are housed at the Family Justice Center to provide community-based services to victims of domestic violence. The Family Justice Center is located at 400 Harriet Tubman Street in Knoxville and accepts walk-ins Monday through Friday between 8:00a.m.-4:00p.m.
